Being Christ’s Community in Changing and Challenging Times

Welcome to the Tiefengrund Rosenort Mennonite Church web site.  To find us physically, just follow the Tiefengrund Road signs which take you ( five miles) northeast of Laird, SK.  The white church building is nestled among both old and recently planted spruce trees. Here, beside the cemetery where our pioneers and some more recent members and friends rest, you can stop, have a picnic in the shade, explore and listen to the birds while the breeze wafts through the branches. Here you can rest and experience God’s peace.  Know that you are welcome here.  We look forward to getting to know you and to worshipping together.

We are a small but vibrant congregation at present. Surrounding farms have grown larger and families smaller and we have felt the impact of both.  However, we carry on in our faith in Jesus Christ and purpose for being, which is to live for Christ in what we do and say. We have been here since 1910, but “being Christ’s community in changing and challenging times” continues to be ever relevant.  We hope to see you soon.
